The Finixa polishing program has been specifically developed for the professional body shop.
Based on nanotechnology, Finxa says its polish compound can reduce compounding times up to 50 percent. The polish diminishes from coarse to ultra-fine in particle grade, cutting and glazing and returning gloss degree to 95 percent.
An additional advantage is that this paste stays ‘wet’ to enable longer working times and minimises the risk of dry powder rests. This polish paste is suitable for both old paints and fresh paints, 2K products, clear coats and the newest generation of ceramic paints.
You can even use it on modern plastics and rubbers as it won’t stain or remove surface treatments on these substrates saving masking or disassembly time. Any polish contamination on these substrates can be simply wiped off with a clean cloth.
Also in the range is POL10, developed to renew faded headlights.
This versatile product can be used in applications such as, de nibs, removing dust, polishing spray zones, polishing contamination after sanding and bringing back gloss on old faded paints.
The polishing paste POL 10 can be combined with any polishing machine. Finixia also produces its own polishing machine the POL 55. This 800W machine can be adjusted continuously from 700 to 2500 RPM and is fitted with a flexible support for the foam following the contours of the surface that need to be polished.
The orange and black polishing foam pads are open cell foam pads, the orange has a rather solid structure and the black has a soft structure; the white polishing foam pad has a closed cell structure and there is also a lamb’s wool pad.
To complete the kit there are Finixa microfiber cloths, packed five pieces. You can see Finixa in action at the Collision Repair Expo on stand AC42.
