Accident management and replacement car company, Compass Claims, has released a promotional video highlighting the products it offers to repairers.
Offering services to complement the smash repairer industry, Compass provides a like for like replacement vehicle while the ‘not at fault’s’ vehicle is being fixed.
With a wide range of vehicles Compass says it has been able to help ensure that repairers never lose a job because they don’t have a replacement vehicle to offer.
Compass managing director, James Frape said: “The customer is happy as they don’t pay for the car rental, the at fault insurance company does. And if the repairers aren’t getting anywhere with having repairs authorised, Compass can also organise an assessment and bill the third party directly for the repairs as well.
“Compass is committed to ensuring that the best interests of the consumer are looked after throughout the whole process, which includes the provision of a replacement car and an independent assessment of the damage to ensure that genuine parts can be used,” said Frape.
“We are able to put clients back into vehicles the same day they have had an accident, provided we know about the claim before midday.”
Frape is pleased with how Compass the company has grown: “Over the past few years we have been steadily growing our footprint and liaising with repairers on how much added value they can give to the customer who has brought their vehicle in to be repaired.
Offering bodyshop customers superior service
“With many insurance companies trying to dictate what you can and can’t do, we see more repairers winning business through superior customer service and added value. This includes the promise of a like for like replacement vehicle which costs their client nothing. They have the rental vehicle from us while theirs is in for repairs and we bill the at fault insurance company afterwards. The customer walks away with a warm glow about the repairer who helped them throughout the whole process and they turn into a repeat customer. We just sit in the background and facilitate the process.,” he said.
The video was developed to help promote the Compass product to clients who weren’t sure and wanted further clarification on the services provided.
“It has been a great success in providing a simple, easy to understand walk through of the process and prompted a great surge in business,” Frape said.
“It did help having a well known personality who presented the video utilising our services when they were the victim of a non-fault accident themselves a few days after the video!
"Some insurance companies are now looking towards working with us instead of working against us in an effort to keep costs down, with some realising that the added value we provide to their clients is one worth considering along with the natural progression that a corporate deal with Compass will only reduce rates for themselves," he said.
