Henkel has launched a new nozzle system for the Teroson Powerline II cartridge gun.
Now you can replicate the appearance of structural seams applied by robots in OEM flat stream and wide stream applications, so that repair work and original work are indistinguishable from each other.
Henkel’s Teroson PowerLine II Gun is unique being the only product capable of replicating this OEM finish, say the company. Its very powerful air cylinder dispenses low to very high viscosity material from cartridges.
“Terostat 9320 Seam Sealer cures at a fast rate compared to conventional products and can be over painted after a period of 10-20 minutes or as soon as skin over occurs,” said Henkel demonstrator, David Marsh.
Its excellent UV resistance means its weathering performance is first-class. It’s fast curing speed (which can be accelerated by infrared) enables it to be over painted wet-on-wet or up to three days after the first application.
This low viscosity seam sealant boasts excellent sprayable adhesion without the need for a primer. It also offers very good sag resistance, is solvent free and isocyanate free.
Terostat 9320 when applied with Henkel’s Teroson Power Line II gun and Multi Press gun provides a high quality OEM finish for beading and texture refinishing for all vehicles.
It can replicate robotic flat stream and wide stream beads unlike any of the nearest competitor’s products. The spray sealer can be applied in a fine or heavy pattern to both new parts and repair work and is available in ochre, black and grey colour.
“It has a multitude of applications including sealing panels, brush sealing, spray sealing and sound deadening,” said Marsh. Terostat 9320 is particularly recommended for the sealing of hem flanges on doors, bonnets, tailgates, and engine compartments, boots and the passenger cabin. Terostat 9320 can also be used on larger areas to repair under body or stone chip protection coatings.
