Axalta Coating Systems' latest waterborne technology now includes Permahyd Hi-TEC from Spies Hecker.
Based on patented hybrid technology, the new Permahyd Hi-TEC system has launched in Australia, completing the Axalta Coating Systems waterborne offering.
Axalta says the Permahyd Hi-TEC basecoat system is distinguished by its simple processing, as it pioneers a method for mixing colours that achieves an even, smooth finish designed to perform in all conditions.
When adjusting the material’s viscosity, a specially developed additive helps to optimise spraying characteristics, while high pigmentation levels bring about extremely high opacity.
“The results are outstanding as Permahyd Hi-TEC is based upon the very latest technology,” Steven Jakopovic, Axalta's marketing services manager for ANZ, said.
“Ultimately, Permahyd Hi-TEC’s unique hybrid system caters for the advanced user whose repair facility is driven by technology and requires outstanding results in all conditions.
“It’s our high-performance waterborne basecoat and just like Axalta’s other waterborne ranges, Standoblue and Cromax Pro, these lines represent the very best in waterborne technology.”
Jakopovic said Permahyd delivers a performance finish for all conditions and as a hybrid system, it completes the company's waterborne offering.
“This is particularly important as our focus on new technology in all segments means we can cover the whole spectrum of needs.”
