While visiting Bribane BMW 's impressive new shop judging for the 2016 Paint & Panel awards we spotted a gorgeous but injured i8 in one of the booths.
The car had been trucked up from Sydney as only a couple of technicians in Australia have completed the training for this CFRP passenger cell vehicle. Justin Colyer-Pooley is the man just about to undertake one of the first i8 repairs in the country (no pressure there Justin) and he talks us through some of the tricky proceedures on this highly sophisticated body construction.
We apologise for the slightly sub-standard sound quality - a booth isn't built for accoustics as you know, but it's well worth listening to. Thanks so much to Bisbane BMW for allowing us to film this. Fellow judge and panel beater Neil Powell is the man with the questions in this video.
