Judging for the 2020 Paint & Panel Bodyshop Awards has continued via Zoom. Last week we concentrated on Queensland, this week we will be visiting WA and SA.
We have been delighted to meet many new shop owners as well as catching up with those we've visited before. It's been fantastic to see the progress that many have made. Business conditions in Queensland, for the most part, have not been too badly affected by lockdown and Covid-19 conditions. Obviously a lack of tourists is having some impact but for many (look away Victorian repairers) it's business as usual.
We're busy developing our plans for a fantastic streaming awards night which we will invite every repairer in the country to take part in. To that end we won't be announcing any winners until the night. Save the date Friday November 13 to (with appropriate social distancing for you state) order a pizza or two and tune in with your team to see who the tophy takers will be. We'll also be running some live competitions including best dressed and the night will celebrate the industry's achievement and be a lot of fun.
