Only a week to go until the nominations for the 2017 Paint & Panel bodyshop awards close. While that are over 200 nominations we notice that a lot of suppliers who usually nominate their favourite shops haven't yet. So come on people, get your skates on. You can find out all about the different categories here.
The Axalta Sustainability Award goes to a shop who demonstrates the real meaning of sustainability - and being green is only a tiny part of what the judges are looking for. A sustainable business model means that your shop is going to be around and profitable for some time to come. That might be the way you market your business, source your customers, even find and retain staff.
You don't need to tick every box but here are some of the criteria the judges will be looking for:
Strong vision for business and plan for future
Staff training, especially encouraging the next generation, e.g. apprentices
Marketing program
Efficient operating procedures
Environmentally responsible
Community involvement
Specialisation or diversification strategies
If you think this sounds like your business, nominations for our 2017 awards are closing very shortly - click here to nominate.
