We know that there are brilliant young shop owners and managers in the industry. We've met them while judging for the awards and at the Next Generation conference we held in Melbourne last year.
We want to celebrate and recognise young talent. Nominate a rising star in your business today (scroll down to the bottom of the form to find the rising star section). They must be under 35 willing to make a video of themselves (we won't show it to anyone else if you don't want us to). If you are a suppler you can also nominate someone who has impressed you.
If you are reading this and think "do you know what, I'd like a crack at that award," then don't be shy, nominate yourself.
Entry is by video after you have been nominated, we will send an email to all nominees to remind you. Make a video (maximum five minutes) on your phone or ipad or with a camcorder and either upload it to youtube and send us a link (samstreet@yaffa.com.au) or send it to the Paint & Panel offices on a memory stick. Tell us about yourself, your role in the business, your ambitions for the future and any other involvement in industry associations or community initiatives.
Winners will be featured in the November issue of the magazine, will receive a trophy and be invited to the our spectacular award presentation lunch dinner in Sydney in October this year.
