Aussie Automotive Group, QLD

Aussie Hail, part of the Aussie Automotive Group, demonstrates strong community engagement by prioritising local employment when establishing temporary sites in storm-affected areas. Through its Dent Doctor Hail Division, the company sponsors the Mt Maria Senior Girls Rugby League Team, supporting young athletes and promoting sportsmanship.

Aussie Automotive Group actively supports several charitable causes including Friends with Dignity and participating in the Gift for Friends Christmas drive. The company also hosts Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea to raise funds for cancer research and supports The Brewers Lunch to benefit local charities.

Additionally, employees participate in the Sudsy Challenge, raising funds for Orange Sky, which provides mobile laundry services for the homeless.

Aussie Hail’s environmental efforts include a plant-a-tree program for each repaired vehicle, partnering with Carbon Neutral to offset emissions and promote reforestation.

Sheen Panel Service, VIC

The Sheen Community Fund has raised over $5 million over the past 35 years to support children in need, working with charities such as Friend in Me, Variety: The Children’s Charity, and the Royal Children’s Hospital. Sheen Panel Service also encourages local sponsorships across its 27 shops, supporting 28 local businesses, initiatives, and clubs, ranging from sports teams to mental health initiatives and primary schools. In addition, they offer discounted rates to seniors and emergency service personnel.

Sheen plays a key role in the Australian Collision Industry Alliance. Their operations manager sits on the ACIA board, contributing to industry events and expos. The marketing division also supports the ACIA, helping to raise the profile of careers in this sector. Sheen Panel Service will exhibit at multiple career expos in 2025. Their apprenticeship manager also conducts school presentations on work experience and apprenticeship opportunities.

In 2024, the Sheen Community Fund launched a successful Golf Day, raising money for a Specialised Assistance Dog. They are also hosting a ‘Bikes For Kids’ event, building bikes for children in need, funded entirely by the Sheen Community Fund. These efforts reflect Sheen’s long-standing commitment to community involvement and social responsibility.
