Axalta Coating Systems has launched a new polishing compound in its Andurra range.
The 'All-In-One' A8 has been formulated to be used in conjunction with Andurra's new P1500 sanding paper and can be used with foam or wool polishing pads.
Axalta training manager Paul Polverino said that the polishing compound has been through rigorous testing prior to launching.
“Trying to achieve fast cutting on a HS clear coat and final polishing to a high gloss level, with just one product can often be difficult.
“However after exhaustive research and testing against similar one-step products, we are confident the new Audurra A8 will prove to be a winner.
"The key is being able to start with large cutting particles for initial fast polishing and then making sure those same particles break down in size consistently during the process to provide a high gloss finish.”
The Andurra 'All-In-One' A8 has been manufactured in Europe.
