All Car-O-Liner welders use inverter technology in all their models. The inclusion of inverters is a more efficient use of transformers in the welders.
These produce less heat and deliver higher power output more efficiently without the need for higher voltages. They also provide better control of variable functional parameters than non-inverter welding machines.
Car-O-Liner markets an extensive range of MIG machines. This covers a number of models from the entry level portable (single phase) CMI161 (26 kg) unit to the top-of-the-line CMI3000II, with digital intelligence that takes all the guesswork out of MIG brazing in high-tensile steels or welding in ferritic, stainless steels and aluminium.
The CMI223 is a stepless, totally digital welder, with advanced welding quality that gives synergy between the parameters and automatic functions. The user merely adjusts the main parameters and the welder quickly optimises the rest.
Compact and easy to use, the unit comes with a permanent four-wheel drive that ensures precise and stable wire feed. The CMI223 provides perfect arc ignition using either CO2 or mixed gases.
Users looking for more powerful functions should consider the CMI273 and CMI273 Pulse units. Fully-featured, these welders easily work with the new materials used in today’s vehicles. Designed on the principle of ’switch on, press and weld’, these high advanced welders handle the entire welding process through the fully-digital control panel.
The control panel provides all key information at a glance. All the operator has to do is set the thickness and the welder does the rest. Weld settings are adjusted from the torch.
To protect and preserve the material strength of heat sensitive materials, as well as to minimise weld spatter, both CMI273 Pulse welders use Auto-Pulse technology. The pulse function is increasingly favoured by car manufacturers for these reasons.
An interesting feature of the CMI273 welder range is the ability to use both single and three phase power with the added benefit of an electronic Boost Converter (autotransformer) for excellent welding and brazing using both single and three-phase mains voltages.
A variant of these welders is the Twin option. This provides two torches to allow the user to easily switch-over between welding and brazing functions without having to change hoses, wires, wire drive rolls or gas. The four-wheel drive feed system provides smooth, reliable wire feed even on softer wires (e.g. aluminium) for use on MIG brazing.
The CMI273 Twin comes in either a standard or pulse version.
All CMI223 and CMI273 models come with the adjustable MIG-A-Twist torch which sports a swivel device that allows the user to access hard-to-reach places, extending the operator’s reach.
Car-O-Liner also markets an extensive range of resistance spot welders, induction heaters, spotters and plasma cutters.
Car-O-Liner Australia’s team of specialists (all factory-trained and former panel beaters) are only too ready to assist with training for staff.
