Reproducing OEM quality or custom matt finishes accurately has always been challenging. DeBeer's Refinish Matt Clear Coat System makes this much easier for body shops to achieve. The system was developed through extensive market consultation and the expertise of DeBeer Refinishes global research centres. The DeBeer Refinish Matt Clear Coat System is a high solids, VOC compliant, intermix system designed to provide a silky smooth matt finish for high productive automotive refinish and custom car work. The DeBeer Refinish Matt Clear Coat System consists of two clear coats, along with a dedicated hardener and thinner. The compact, dedicated system, is easy to use and ensures consistent results, DeBeer say. The Matt Clear Coat System allows you to achieve a full range of sheen levels; from the mattest of matt finishes (0-10GU) through to high satin (60GU). The system is designed to give the flexibility to cover the gloss range currently offered by the automotive industry. The system is compatible with both DeBeer Refinish BeroBase 500 Series and WaterBase 900+ Series. The clear coat may be applied directly over these basecoat systems and does not require an intermediate clear coat. In addition, the system is suitable for use over all OEM substrates including ridged plastics. The system also features a Matt Clear Coat swatch which provides a visual guide to the range of matt levels achievable from the system. Swatches are available in both black and metallic silver with mixing ratios detailed on the back of each swatch.
