Saint-Gobain has released to new abrasives products under its Norton brand.
The company has introduced its 'Blaze' file belts featuring premium ceramic grain to aid to the removal of spot welds without the need of drilling or grinding wheels, which will generate fewer sparks in tighter work spaces.
The file belts include a supersize grinding aid on a heavy duty polyester backing ideal for preventing damage to vehicle-grade steels.
The 'Blaze' file belts are available in 40, 60 and 80 grit sizes.
Alongside the launch, Norton will also release its first mini-flap discs for cleaning flanges prior to spot welding on replacement panels as well as for finishing of spot welds before applying primer.
