How did you get started in the industry?
I wanted to have a smash repair business - it seemed like good idea at the time.
What do you do now?
I own a panel shop ( Actually it's about my 10th )
What do you most like about the industry?
The money, any passion left when I needed to feed the family, since then it's been about the money,
What do you most dislike about the industry?
I thought about this a lot-- i can't think of anything.. sure there's bits that annoy me but it's the same as any industry.
Who do you most admire in the industry?
So many people to look up to. My first employer Dean Sutton; The key tradie that taught me plenty in my early days - Jim Dennis. The engineer I worked under - Ray Cross. More recently in the MSO-type business Mark Wells. I've probably left out another 50 people.
Cars. Tell us - first car, current car, dream car?
First was an XP sedan, Currently I've got a RAV4 Hybrid. Dream car -I was lucky enough to have one of the last MONARO's with a 350 6 speed. Between the first and the last is about 200 plus cars of all shapes and sizes. TBH I'm pretty much over cars. They are a form of transport.
