There’s a quiet revolution going on at Phil Munday's Panel Works (PMPW) and Seetal Spraybooths are an important part of the company’s arsenal in the battle for effective, lean productivity.
November’s Paint and Panel will feature, in detail, the impressive changes at PMPW. Part of this new way of working is the new rapid repair section which features a five car, climate controlled, fully downdraft Seetal prep area.
PMPW has invested in its future with five new, energy-saving Seetal spraybooths which include three bake ovens and a further two climate controlled prep areas.
Munday’s managing director Andy Harrop said: “I’ve used a verity of booths in my career, especially when I was a demonstrator. Some of them excel in one area and don't do so well in others. For me, Seetal is consistent in every area. The equipment is very low maintenance and hard wearing. Importantly, the after-service is fantastic.
“The new prep bays are brilliant, they can keep five cars at a constant temperature with the help of an infra red bank, it’s really helped to speed up our cycle times,” he said.
