JVS Bodyworks in Renmark, SA wrote a thorough, detailed award submission demonstrating why they deserved this year’s crown.

Jason and Tracey Gordon are passionate about the industry. Their stated mission is to be “the premier collision repairer in our region, renowned for delivering exceptional quality of service, pioneering innovative solutions, whilst maintaining an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction.”

While the old ‘shed’ has been updated and continues to be upgraded, they’ve outgrown it and have acquired a block of land directly opposite the current site. This new facility will be designed to cater to the growing demand for electric vehicle towing and storage. “We are demolishing our staff tearoom to create a modern, enhanced facility that will provide our team with a comfortable and efficient working environment. This upgrade is part of our broader strategy to invest in our people and infrastructure, ensuring we maintain high morale and productivity among our staff.”

The shop has an established reputation for reliability and excellence, which has resulted in a steady stream of referrals and repeat business.

JVS was one of the early adopters undertaking ADAS calibrations, saving customers days without their vehicle – dealerships are a long tow away. They also offer calibration services to other repairers in the area. When we’ve judged in the past we had one criticism of the shop which was its outdated realignment system, but this has since been upgraded with a Globaljig capable of dealing with the heavy country hits the shop has to handle. The business also offers child restraint fitting services and has other diversification strategies.
