Axalta has launched its January to June 2024 training schedule, for both product training (Standox, Spies Hecker and Cromax brands) and Axalta Drivus. A complete face-to-face programme will be held across both Australia and New Zealand and will cover a range of relevant topics. Participants with be provided with valuable insights into the latest tools, techniques and methodologies needed to increase throughput and decrease cycle times within the body repair process.

The Axalta Drivus courses for the year cover the innovative ‘Lean Foundations’, focusing on coaching first-line managers and supervisors to use Lean Principles to enhance performance, productivity, and profitability. And the new ‘Coaching for Performance in Collision’, which will concentrate on coaching techniques for team leaders and supervisors to effectively coach their teams for improved performance.

As part of the product training, there are courses focusing on Axalta’s fast-cure, low energy systems which use proprietary, patented Axalta technology. In these courses, participants will learn how to cut process times by up to 50% for the entire refinish process and how they can save energy by drying at temperatures as low as 20°C.

Due to Axalta’s Training Alliance with I-CAR, upon completion of these courses, participants will be awarded credit that can be applied towards the I-CAR Gold Class Professionals, Platinum Individual designations, or be used to meet role relevant annual training requirements. Each credit point earned will be submitted to I-CAR and recorded on their personal training record.
