Paint technicians from Porsche Certified Collision Centres from Queensland and New South Wales have successfully completed their OEM Porsche refinish accreditation at the Glasurit Refinish Competence Centre in Wetherill Park, NSW.
As a part of a global agreement, BASF delivers Porsche OEM training specifically to maintain vehicle paint warranty and the high quality appearance expected at the premium end of the market. Paint technicians attending the certification were educated and upskilled in the processes of Glasurit painting systems and products. The Glasurit OEM Porsche Training accreditation is also recognised by industry training alliance partner I-CAR Australia.
"Working together with Porsche, BASF is dedicated to maintaining the highest quality repair standards throughout our local and global markets," said Ian Johnson, Technical Sales Support Manager, BASF Australia, “We maintain this through Glasurit specialised training programs for OEM approved body shops."
This training session had a focus on correct spray gun usage, Glasurit VOC Clearcoats, including the recently launched 923-645 HS Clear Scratch-Resistant VOC along with an introduction to the latest basecoat technology launched by BASF, Glasurit 100 Line.

"This group of Paint technicians perform their work at a very high quality, they were able to share information with other technicians in the prestige market," said James Green, National Head Trainer. "They were positive towards our Glasurit brand and excited about our latest refinish technology 100 Line."
